Chopping it up with Chip Tha Ripper from 2 La Jits 2 Quit on Vimeo.

Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio (midwest STAND UP), Chip tha Ripper is making moves. I know he's been out for awhile now, but i honestly feel that his time soon shall come. He runs around with Cudi, one of dopest right now, making appearances on The Man On the Moon: The End of Day and he has multiple mixtapes out, the kid is puttin in work! My friend and I we're just talking about how his style is conversational, he uses that midwest lingo( yes, the midwest has lingo.) Go cop The Cleveland Show Mixtape, and then i would also recommend his latest mixtape Money.

love, Moovmnt pt. deux

earlier, i made a blog called love, moovmnt; and now this is the continuation of. Actually i think i might make this an ongoing saga. moovmnt has such a wide selection of good music and great downloads, if you havent visited there blog, i suggest you go check it. Anyways, after i listened to H.O.P.E's "me&HER," i continued to scroll down and was struck again by a guy with a huge fro and a guitar. At first i thought it was kevin michael, but then i found out his name, Mar. Mar re-made "Selfish" by Slum Village, and what a job he did. dude is dope. Acoustic love...

love, Moovmnt

this morning, I didnt go to school; so, I checked my twitter and looked at some blogs. And of course I had to swing by moovmnt.com, only one of the best music blogs around. And while i was looking thru their latest posts, I found an amazing artist, this kid name H.O.P.E. He's put out a single called "me&HER," which is off of his upcoming project called I Believe in Hope Wright. Happy belated v day, hiphop.

Yo, what ever happened to..

so, i was listening to ATCQ, one of my favorite crews of all time, and i was wondering whatever happened to Zulu Nation/the afrocentric vibe in hiphop. I mean Common, sometimes, comes with the black power perspectives, as does Erykah Badu; but there's not really a movement anymore. Afro-centricity, a beautiful thing, is gone forever? Damn, i loved that shit, i think ima bring it back; mark my words. you heard it first right here on 7inch, man. wordlife.

Stussy x Dilla x Stones

this past saturday, feb 8th, Stussy held a tribute in the late producers name. visit Stussy.com to purchase a tee. The tees are limited edition in honor of "dilla day" which will be held at some north american Stussy stores. Also, Stussy will release a documentary of Dilla's life in Los Angeles, due to drop next week. Dilla was one of the best to roam this earth, man. the good ones always die young. Dilla, rest in paradise.

Air Miro Jordan VII O.C

"In our first viewing of the Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro Olympic Celebration (or dubbed “OC”), we had said the multiple colors represented the Olympic Rings, and although this may be true, this Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro goes deeper than that, here is the short story.
Dubbed the Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro Miro after the Spanish painter Joan Miro who died before the 1984 Olympic Games. In 1992 when Michael Jordan and the Dream Team won gold, they played in Miro’s hometown Barcelona, Spain, and Jordan wore the Air Jordan 7 (VII) Olympic.
Taking the design from Joan Miro’s sculpture, “Woman and Bird”, the Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro Miro Olympic Celebration Pack will contain the same style and colors. This pair will exclusively premier at Opium Barcelona on Thursday, July 3, from 7:30 pm and you can expect a big in store celebration. Via Guillotine." _sneakerfiles

shlohmo shlohmo shlohmo

im diggin this guy's style. he's only seventeen, but he's gotten props from major evolutionary producers already. he is already home, homie. residing from L.A, shlohmo has got it on lock. Nowadays, you look around and everybody wants to be a beatmaker or "producer", but this kid's style has got something that those titles underestimate. this dude's got soul and rhythm, and hell, the shit sounds tight! match, get loose, shlohmo.

ichiro has soul

just downloaded this kid's mix. i truly almost started cryin when i opened up the file. Yes, yes; this is the evolution of sound. I couldnt even believe my own ears. over the past couple months, I have found so many dope artists; artists that i can vibe to, artists that i aspire to be like. listen to this mix and you will definitely know that hiphop is far from dead. true hiphop lives in the souls of people like ichiro. hiphop lives within us. live, breathe, hiphop.

Picture this...

the man himself...

photography, real photography, captures all the little things in life. Thats exactly what my guy, G, does.
"I'm very indecisive because I try to look for something. Something morral. Something with life. Life's okay, Life's dandy." -Gino
This kid has got passion, man. check him out on Facebook or hit me up if you would like him to shoot something for you. All is love. Whaddup, G!
