this past saturday, feb 8th, Stussy held a tribute in the late producers name. visit Stussy.com to purchase a tee. The tees are limited edition in honor of "dilla day" which will be held at some north american Stussy stores. Also, Stussy will release a documentary of Dilla's life in Los Angeles, due to drop next week. Dilla was one of the best to roam this earth, man. the good ones always die young. tribute: Afta-1

this dude has been around for awhile, and im starting to find out that a few people already know about him. good. Anyways, I still wanna give a tribute to Afta-1. Dude's doing a lot of things, for me at least, that creates inspiration. I can turn on any song from his volumes and catch a vibe. His sound is completely unique. When I first heard Afta, I thought of Dilla. His offbeat style, his soulful samples and the relaxed vibes, damn, sensational; and, his synths put the icing on the cake. If you haven't already, go cop his latest volume or any of his mixes with Gas'd, you can thank me later.
