M.I.A is back with a banger. Its an extremely artistic album, but expect nothing else, it is M.I.A. Same trippy beats and politically influenced lyrics. I'd highly recommend this shit to anybody that is an M.I.A fan. Even if your not, its still a good pick up.

Usually, i dont go for the "mario cart/gameboy" sound, but this was executed well. There was a good balance between boom-bap hiphop and the electronic pixie sound. I first came across this kid when i was on kanye west's blog. kanye featured a song called talamak that was bananas. if you're in to indie/hiphop/experimental, i definitely would recommend you check them out. i still dont know whether this a solo artist, or if its two people. all the pictures just show one person, but the name is toro Y moi. ima do sum research on that one. you can go to toro y moi's myspace, or check them out on youtube. good find.

ran across this kid, eLan, when I was aimlessly searching through music. he reminds me of samiyam a bit, with a touch of somebody I can't seem to think of. Anyways, he's got a free download of his ep (?) on his myspace page or below. he's not signed but his sht is still legit. experimental and electronic, the future.
