Chopping it up with Chip Tha Ripper from 2 La Jits 2 Quit on Vimeo.

Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio (midwest STAND UP), Chip tha Ripper is making moves. I know he's been out for awhile now, but i honestly feel that his time soon shall come. He runs around with Cudi, one of dopest right now, making appearances on The Man On the Moon: The End of Day and he has multiple mixtapes out, the kid is puttin in work! My friend and I we're just talking about how his style is conversational, he uses that midwest lingo( yes, the midwest has lingo.) Go cop The Cleveland Show Mixtape, and then i would also recommend his latest mixtape Money.

love, Moovmnt pt. deux

earlier, i made a blog called love, moovmnt; and now this is the continuation of. Actually i think i might make this an ongoing saga. moovmnt has such a wide selection of good music and great downloads, if you havent visited there blog, i suggest you go check it. Anyways, after i listened to H.O.P.E's "me&HER," i continued to scroll down and was struck again by a guy with a huge fro and a guitar. At first i thought it was kevin michael, but then i found out his name, Mar. Mar re-made "Selfish" by Slum Village, and what a job he did. dude is dope. Acoustic love...

love, Moovmnt

this morning, I didnt go to school; so, I checked my twitter and looked at some blogs. And of course I had to swing by moovmnt.com, only one of the best music blogs around. And while i was looking thru their latest posts, I found an amazing artist, this kid name H.O.P.E. He's put out a single called "me&HER," which is off of his upcoming project called I Believe in Hope Wright. Happy belated v day, hiphop.

Yo, what ever happened to..

so, i was listening to ATCQ, one of my favorite crews of all time, and i was wondering whatever happened to Zulu Nation/the afrocentric vibe in hiphop. I mean Common, sometimes, comes with the black power perspectives, as does Erykah Badu; but there's not really a movement anymore. Afro-centricity, a beautiful thing, is gone forever? Damn, i loved that shit, i think ima bring it back; mark my words. you heard it first right here on 7inch, man. wordlife.
